Ask Brain a useful question

Give it a task and enough context to do that task.

  1. Open Brain and select Chat.
  2. Start a new chat. Attach the relevant meeting or file if the question is about one item.
  3. Ask for a concrete result. For example: “Summarize the decisions in this meeting. Separate agreed tasks from suggestions. Link each task to its source.”
  4. Open the cited sources and check the answer.
  5. Ask for the next step in the same chat, such as a draft report or a shorter summary.

You are done when: the answer includes the result you wanted and sources you can inspect.

Brain can only use sources and tools available to your account. If a tool needs a connection, complete its normal setup. A confident answer is not proof that an action ran: look for a saved result or action receipt.

The name Amp describes the planned personal assistant experience. These guides use the labels currently visible in Brain. Phone, always-on personalized jobs and every planned IQ integration are not implied by the Chat label.

The existing Brain documentation remains available, including the desktop, meetings and knowledge-workspace guides. These new guides focus on the shared-platform rollout.
