Save a review decision

1. Open the candidate and inspect the evidence.
2. Choose the appropriate review option, such as setting it aside or selecting it for follow-up.
3. Add a useful note explaining why.
4. Save once, then reopen the candidate to confirm the decision appears.

The original calculation remains unchanged. “Selected for lab” means selected for laboratory follow-up, not validated in the laboratory.

API/MCP clients send a decision_id for a new decision. Reuse that same ID when retrying an uncertain save. A different ID represents another decision record. Never let an assistant invent a scientist's approval.
