DimerIQ

Create your first DimerIQ run

Choose references, run the checks and inspect the saved evidence.

Before you start

You need DimerIQ access and a role that can start analyses. Use approved reference sequences. The native Brain version is currently a controlled pilot.

Make a run

  1. Open Area → DimerIQ and select New run.
  2. Give the work a name you will recognize later.
  3. Select the target references you want to detect and exclusion references you want to distinguish from the target. Review accession versions, not only display names.
  4. Review the scope and stopping goal. A selected-panel run checks the selected references; it is not a search against every sequence database.
  5. Start the run once. Keep its ID and watch its status.
  6. When candidates appear, open one to inspect its checks and source evidence.

You are done when: you can reopen the saved run and explain what inputs and screening scope produced its candidates.

If fewer candidates appear than requested, read the stopping reason. DimerIQ must not relax scientific rules just to fill a requested count.
