Your first API request
Read one small thing before building a whole workflow.
An API lets a program ask a tool to do a job. You send a request; it sends a structured response.
- Ask your administrator which environment and app you may use.
- Obtain a short-lived user access token through the approved OAuth client. Start with read access.
- Set the app's base URL and token in your terminal environment.
- List your saved runs. An empty list can be correct for a new account.
- Read one run by ID, then try an approved write using test inputs.
Choose a walkthrough: command line, Python, Node.js or PowerShell.
Examples in this first release target DimerIQ's isolated pilot. They are not a claim that every app has completed its shared-platform API release. Check each app's availability.
There is no special OSPRI SDK required for these HTTP examples. Standard language libraries are enough. The downloadable clients use bounded timeouts and do not automatically retry writes.
